Smoked Trout Dip

My sister-in-law knows how to bust out some of the best hors d’oeuvres I’ve ever tasted.  At every event she is asked to bring something, she brings the talk of the table.  She pretends not to be able to cook (I think so that people don’t start asking her to cook ALL the time), but she’s actually incredibly gifted!  Sorry Liz, your secret is no longer safe with me.  She brought this dish to our Thanksgiving meal, then I made it to serve at my Christmas party and then she made it again (per everyone’s request) for Christmas dinner.  Yes, folks, its that good–its smoky, creamy, devilishly delicious.   I have every intention of serving it again on New Year’s Eve {and HINT: you should too!!}
